This unique layout really does exactly what it needs to. This is the second Sprinter for these owners and they knew exactly what they wanted and how they wanted it. Ultra basic with everything you need for year round play with out the headache of winterization or any frills.
The open boats style cabinets reduce complexity, the 97 Customs pull out bed is simple and effective, no water system. the electrical system can be switched between the factory secondary battery or their house Lithium battery in case things get too cold. Cedar T&G ceiling with puck lights along with LED strip light inside the cabinets. A diesel heater keeps things toasty in the winter with it being ducted into the garage for gear drying.
The garage area is very unique, it’s simplicity allows 2 full size bikes and a third smaller bike to be stored with the wheels on and ready to ride. Snowboards or skis can be stored vertically on the cabinets or the reinforced side walls. The back door upper panels were reinforced to allow easy mounting of various storage pouches for gear.
